In his first year of competition in the regular classes,
Lyric won
High in Trial at the AHCA National Specialty and ended
the year as
the number 2 Afghan Hound in Obedience. During
his career he earned
four High in Trial awards and multiple class placements,
frequently
garnering compliments and applause from both judges
and observers.
On two occasions he also took Winners Dog immediately
after placing
in his obedience class. Lyric has now retired
from competition, but he is
