Vic Tor was born
in Indiana and studied at the Art Institute of Chicago
for six years
with Isabel Steel McKinnon Rubbreck and was influenced by
modern master
Hans Hoffman. Vic Tor's deep interest in fashion pervades
his intriguing
style, which blends strong color with naturalistic objects like
flowers, butterflies
and birds and the quality of photographic images.
Vic Tor has had
many gallery and museum exhibitions too numerous to
mention. His
work is highly collected and has appeared on the cover of
"Sunshine Artists"
January 1975. His artwork was from 70's-80's. This is
an original
not a numbered print and should be worth at
least twice the
asking price.
