I call him “Jack in Black” This beautiful
exotic, houndy boy was spoken for
before he was even born. Mary put
her order in right away when she heard
I bred Jack. One Black Male just
like his dad. Oh boy, she got what she
asked for in more ways than one!
Jet never believed in doing thing in small ways.
He has some wonderful wins. He
finished his Championship with a Group win
from the classes at the tender age of
18 months, several Breeds (over specials)
from the class, Best Op in Sweeps, Specialty
Reserve as a puppy, and Best of
Winners at this past Greater Twin Cities
Afghan Specialty and Winners dog the
following day to a supported entry, finishing
with 3 majors! His first 2 shows
out as a Special has taken Best Opposite
Sex. I am so very proud of this
stellar young man. And so happy
for Mary!

Babbs (which stands for Bad Ass Brindle
Bitch) finished her Championship with
a 5 Major! BAM her record speaks for
itself. She is coursing now and is soon
to become a Duel Champion. She has also
followed in her father’s footsteps by
doing some hospital therapy work. I am
very porud of this beautiful Brindle girl.
Babbs was Kathi’s first show dog.
When she picked her up, she told me she was
going to finish her with all majors.
I chuckled to myself. Little did I know she
meant it. Hard enough to do when
you have been showing for a while, but to do
it with your first show dog?? And the
nice thing about it is Kathi was on the end of
the lead for 2 of those majors. I would
like to send my gracious appreciation to
The Great Twin Cities Afghan Hound Club
for their support of Kathi and Babbs, and
to Sandy Nelson and Jane Burygone for
their expert handling of this wonderful bitch.

This stunning young man is extremely
square, and very typie. He is very true to
the breed, solid top line, balanced mover,
he moves up, and out, and covers a lot
of ground without effort. He lives
up to his name, in both attitude and movement!
Not only does he love to show, but he
will tear up any coursing field you put him on.
He finished his FC title (in 2 weekends)
with three 5 point majors! Becoming a Field
Champion before becoming a Senior Courser.
And finishing last year (with limited
running) in the AKC Top 10! He finished
his Conformation title just as nice, starting
with winning both sweeps and regular
classes at the 2008 National ,Best in Sweeps,
Best Puppy, Puppy Group 1. Group 3, and
3 majors! When he steps in the ring he
owns the ground he walks on, I have seen
Keiko stare down a judge, daring the judge
not to put him up. I love this boy so
much. And I have to say, in so may way’s he
reminds me of his Uncle Arson! Keiko
oozes confidence and arrogance just
like Arson did.

It has never been a secret that this
bitch is very special to me. Honestly when
they came to pick her up, they had to
pry her from my arms and run. She was
always my favorite, and we have a special
bond. She is a very true to the breed,
very square, solid top line, balanced
mover, covers alot of ground, and loves to
show. She is not afraid to turn on the
charm when she hits the ring. Navy will
do whatever is ask of her without hesitation.
She too has done some nice winning
holding her JC title, and going
Breed (over specials) from the classes just about
a month ago. And several Best Op Sex
(over specials) from the classes. Look for
her on the coursing field now that she
is a New Champion!

Jack is extremely proud of his kid’s.
It was a true honor for him to be
chosen as Stud Dog at the 2008 National,
as he step into the ring with his
beautiful kids. His first litter has
proven to be as consistent as he is.

in her class. Keiko 1st in Sweeps
and his Class. Ava 4th in Sweeps and 1st in
